Maxillary Swing approach to tumour resections

Tumours of the skull base like angiofibroma, clical tumours require an approach through the sinus to facilitate complete removal. This is a specialised surgery whereby the sinus is swung open, the surgery is completed and the sinus is then resutured to its original position.
