Sinusitis is a common cause of headaches and fever amongst young and middle aged individuals. This occurs because of blocked sinus openings secondary to swollen mucosa, turbinates or deviated nasal septum.

The treatment apart from medical management is surgical reomval of the block and opening the sinuses.
