Stapedectomy is surgery done for Otosclerosis.

Otosclerosis is a condition of the ear in which there is fixation of the stapes bone ( the last of the hearing bones). Patients with otosclerosis have only hearing loss with no history of any ear discharge . An artificial prosthesis is used to bypass the fixed stapes footplate . Dr Abhineet uses a Titanium/Fluoroplastic piston (Grace Medical).
